Fun With Blogging: Posting Memories

One of the reasons that we chose to have a wedding blog rather than a website was to allow for some interaction with our wedding guests. So, if anyone has a favourite memory of the bride or groom or both of us together...feel free to post it here for everyone to read.

Here's what you do:

Click on MESSAGES TO THE BRIDE & GROOM (hint: it's at the end of this blog entry).

When the window changes to the comment page, type your memory in the space provided.

Sign in to blogger, or click on anonymous if you don't have a blogger account. Note: If you are signing in as 'Anonymous,' ensure that your memory includes your name at the bottom.

Type in the word verification.

Click on LOGIN AND PUBLISH. Or, click on PREVIEW, so you can see what your comment will look like first.

That's it, you're done.

Happy posting!

I have known Shannon FOREVER! We have been friends since grade 1 and somehow managed to stay in contact despite her move to Brooks in Grade 7. We don't talk to each other everyday, but we have a friendship that has lasted for (oh my goodness!)dare I say it, somewhere around 24 years! How did we become SO old? Your an awesome person Shannon and I'm glad to call you my friend. I wish you and Jake all the best!

It was quite the shock when Jake and Shannon asked me to *blink, blink - literally!* MARRY THEM! I've known Jake since high school, as the "smart kid at the back of the class that knew EVERYTHING about math" that I could ask stupid questions and get a friendly answer in return, a coworker/my manager at McDonald's after high school and then later as one of my brothers' roommates and gaming buddies.

Shannon was always a "friend-of-a-friend". When she flew through Calgary on a whirlwind tour to Edmonton she'd sometimes crash on my couch. That was, oddly, the perfect opportunity for us to get a deeper appreciation for our own friendship and it's only grown since then.

I'm privileged to know you both and to call you my friends. I'm happy you've found each other and I wish you all the best in the life you're starting with each other!
